The dialogue between human and computer-based systems is essential for every single computer-based system and for every one. Therefore, the research on Human-Computer Interaction plays an essential role to increase the acceptance of a digitized world. We are investigating in our research the human behavior, aptitutdes, preferences and every factor that may lead to a change systems. Thereby adaptive and intelligent systems are developed that consider that factor in the dialogue between human and computer. Measurements are performed through qualitative, quantitative and mixed-methods to ensure the validity of our approaches. Machine Leaning methods are applied to understand the human behavior and create systems that are easy-to-understand, enable efficient ways of interaction design and provide great user experience. The work on HCI is commonly strongly performed with experts from the faculty of psychology at the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
