International Conference on Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing (ISM 2020)

23/11/2020/in Conference, Conference, Event /by Dirk Burkhardt

Over the past few years, the growing and intensive development of information technology in the manufacturing industry has led to a significant change in the methods and tools supporting the factories of the future. The hot topics around Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing aim at the digital and organizational transformation of traditional factories and industrial systems as well as several other sectors. The International Conference on Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing (ISM) provides the perfect setting and a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange, the review and discussion of theoretical advances, research results, and industrial experiences, among scientists, researchers, decision makers, practitioners and students.

Authors are invited to submit a regular or short paper on the following topics. Nevertheless, papers dealing with other Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing topics are also welcome.

The conference is co-located with other three events. Visit the ISM website for more information.

  • a B2B brokerage event, a unique opportunity to find potential partners and right contacts to build new cross-border international business and research partnerships;
  • the Win-Log 2020, the International Workshop on Innovation for Logistics, the scenario for scientists and practitioners to discuss current trends and challenges in the Logistics 4.0;
  • the WAMS 2020, the International Workshop on Applied Modeling & Simulation, which concentrates on applications of M&S in multiple sectors including industry, logistics, defence, business and services.
