Dr. Lukas Kaupp is the research center coordinator of the Research Center for Applied Informatics and research associate at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and holds the title Master of Science in Computer Sciences. He worked for various companies, in different stages, from the small web startup till the large IT consultant company. Acknowledged with different positions, last position in industry as a project and team lead for disrupting web technology projects. He started his research career in the BMBF-funded ProDok 4.0 project, focusing on semantic fusion of cyber-physical factoring machine data with documentation. Especially, he focused on unsupervised outlier detection within streaming data employing the latest state-of-the-art artificial intelligence algorithms. He is passionate about his research goal, the enablement of professionals within the highly integrated interconnected environment labeled as industry 4.0.
