Our article “Hybrid Forecasting Methods—A Systematic Review” has been published in the electronics journal, Vol. 12, Issue 7. The article presents a systematic literature review using the PRISMA statement. Our work aimed to determine if hybrid approaches provide better results than individual models. For all cases examined, this thesis proved true. Based on the results of the PRISMA study, the possible applications of hybrid prediction approaches in visual analytics systems for decision-making are discussed and illustrated using an exemplary visualization. The article is available as open access publication. The work was partially supported by the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (Hessen.AI) within the project VAVTech.
