Our group had the honor of presenting five full papers at this year’s International Conference on Information Visualization, focusing on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Visual Analytics in decision-making. We started the conference with an opening note on AI and visualization by Ebad Banissi, Kawa Nazemi, and Boris Kovalerchuk.
Following an inspiring keynote by Chaomei Chen, our group presented recent advances in integrating deep learning and large language models to address societal and environmental challenges. The papers we presented included

The conference was a fantastic experience that provided us with valuable, constructive feedback and engaging questions from our peers. This interaction confirmed the importance and relevance of our work and motivated us to continue pushing the boundaries of our research.
