Lennart Bijan Sina is a researcher in the research group on Human-Computer Interaction and Visual Analytics (Faculty of Media) of the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. He researches and teaches in the intersection between interactive visualizations and artificial intelligence and is pursuing a Ph.D. in applied computer science.
He started his research in Visual Analytics and Information Visualization in 2019 as a research assistant and was the first still student elevated to a research associate. He worked on European and national projects and has several years of experience developing web-based interactive visualizations and user interfaces. In addition, he has experience implementing machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence applications.
Lennart Sina holds a master’s degree with honors in Information Science from the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. The title of his master thesis was ”Visual Analytics for Unstructured Data and Scalable Data Models”. His research interests include visual analytics, artificial intelligence, corporate foresight, data visualization, data mining, and text analytics.
